Russian Alien 'Hoax' A Forced 'Confession'?
Filer's Files

When a video showing a dead alien body laying in the snow in Russia was uploaded onto YouTube by an account associated with paranormal and UFO site All News Web on April 17th, it was an instant hit. Five days later, it has over six million views.

Fake videos are nothing new; the difference with this video is that it's more convincing than most of the others, and was posted on the Internet right after hundreds of Siberians saw some lights in the sky crash to the Earth as previously reported by several Russian newscasters.

The video is so realistic that a local newspaper editor saw it and thought the alien body was actually a small child and called the authorities. After Russian police questioned the two men who made the video, they supposedly "confessed" to using chicken skin, chicken bones, bread, and paint to make the being. If you look closely at the video, you can see the alien's translucent skin and what appear to be blue and red veins under the skin. The skin also appears to be a sort of glossy, smooth material. Chicken skin is bumpy from where the feathers were plucked. In addition, how did these men form the smooth head and face?

Stories abound of people being threatened by the government after revealing they have evidence of aliens, and people going missing after talking about government cover-ups of UFOs. Would the Russian government let a couple of men continue to admit to having seen an alien, or would they try to put a stop to that kind of talk?
