The first of the two YouTube videos claiming masses of 'white UN vehicles' were 'hidden' at a Florida 'military air base' appeared on the net in 2010.

The YouTube headline screamed fear and anxiety...

4,000 PLUS U.N. VEHICLES (HIDDEN) IN JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA (6/9/2010)

Here is the link featuring what might seem to some a cast-iron proof via Google Earth...

The narration on the video stated the location of the thousands of 'white UN vehicles' was a 'Military Air Base' near Jacksonville. We looked into the situation and did some research...something the person who uploaded the video could have easily done. My webmaster, James Neff, sent the following to me:

"I just spoke on the phone with Reynolds Airpark where the Google Earth images came from in the YouTube video. The person on the phone confirmed that the airport is, as you said, privately-owned and that it leases out unused airstrips for various purposes...including vehicle storage.

The Reynolds Airpark spokesman further said they are not white 'UN Vans' but are various cars, vans and trucks of many different colors...all of which have a white covering to protect the paint from damage and long exposure to sunlight. He confirmed they are all commercial vehicles."

The Reynolds Airpark owners even put a statement up on their website about it. Here is an excerpt:

The company storing Kia (autombiles) here was a tenant of ours for two years until the federal "Cash For Clunkers" program absorbed their inventory and they no longer needed the storage space available at Reynolds Park. The vehicles are imported with white plastic film on them as a protective covering. They did not have "UN" posted on the roofs. I don't know if the UN places the letters on the roof of all their vehicles or not but the vehicles in the video are real but the vehicles here never had UN on their roofs.

You can read the entire statement here: http://www.reynoldspark.com/public_notice_un_cars.pdf

As for this being a 'Military Air Base'... Reynolds Airpark is located in Green Gove, FL and Is most certainly not a military base as you can see here: http://www.airport-data.com/airport/FL60/

The 'white UN vans' (Kia automobiles) were not stored at Reynolds Airpark as the screen capture taken 3-30-10 shows. You can, however, see the striping for mass vehicle storage on the unused runway.

And, then came along the second 'white UN vans' Google Earth story about which we posted and made mention of 'so many questions (about it), and so little time' to research every story. This one was so important, we did allocate sparse time to do a quick and proper investigation.

Here are the YouTube headline and link to the latest 'white UN vans' story...

THOUSANDS & THOUSANDS OF U.N. VEHICLES (HIDDEN) ON THE WEST COAST

After what we found in Florida, this is also extremely likely just a harmless storage of new vehicle with white protective coating in the area of Port Hueneme, near Oxnard, SoCal.

We sincerely hope this shines some light on these kinds of fear-based, murky stories about which the perpetrators never seem to have time - or interest - to do even the most cursory research. American are certainly under enough stress at things are without these kinds of YouTube postings to make them even more fearful.
