Hi Jeff - The ever-evil PG&E snuck a smart meter onto my gas service while I was out of town. I had called when I moved here recently and specifically requested NO smart meter.   I just discovered it yesterday (maybe that's why I'm waking up in the middle of the night lately). I called them today and insisted they come out and remove it. The operator said they couldn't take them off...but I persisted. So, she went to her supervisor, returned and said that someone from "Wellington" would call me back. I guess they are the subcontractor they tried to blame the "mistake" on.   "I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore..."
