NYT Praises Hillary’s Monday Night Demagoguery |

| Monday’s event mocked what real debates are supposed to be all about,
delivering tragedy and farce instead, 90 ranting demagogic minutes without
substance, replete with unchallenged Big Lies - symbolic of America’s fantasy
democracy. Times editors commented as expected, one-sidedly for Hillary, delivering a campaign commercial, not serious analysis, praising her duplicitous performance, maintaining a relentless anti-Trump tirade - a clear example of press agent journalism, mocking the real thing. “(J)ust one candidate is serious and the other is a vacuous bully,” Times editors blustered. “There was a fundamental asymmetry to the exercise, because of the awful truth that one of the participants had nothing truthful to offer.” Whatever Trump says or doesn’t say, Times editors assail him relentlessly - at the same time ignoring Hillary’s deplorable public record making her unfit to serve. Times editors: Trump “(s)t(ood) at the lectern, interrupting and shouting, playing (an) invisible accordion with his open hands, filibustering, tossing his word salads…(He) struggled to contend with an opponent…much more poised and prepared than” any Republican primary contender. Not a word about Hillary’s email scandal, DNC documents showing she stole primary elections, her fealty to Wall Street and other predatory corporate interests, her anti-progressivism, major war crimes, her racketeering Clinton Foundation, and unindicted perjury for lying to Congress and FBI investigators. She’s the establishment favorite for good reason, representing imperial arrogance at its worst, monied interests over popular ones, a Machiavellian menace, complicit with dark forces running America, unparalleled pure evil. Times editors: She “st(ood) up to bullying…swatting (Trump’s) attacks aside and confidently delivering her own criticisms from higher, firmer ground.” Times editors would have praised her performance if she stood mute for 90 minutes. They ignored her serial lying throughout the campaign, notably on Monday night. Truth is the missing ingredient in virtually all US political contests, rare exceptions proving the rule, most evident in quadrennial presidential races. Americans get the best democracy money can buy, a criminal cabal running things for its own self-interest, ordinary people left out altogether. What’s most important to explain, Times editors, columnists, correspondents and contributors suppress, managed news misinformation and willful lying substituting. They support a ruthlessly dangerous political system too debauched to fix, neocons in charge threatening humanity’s survival - The Times cheerleading what demands denunciation.
