Russia Orders Relatives Of Officials
Abroad To Return Home

According to Britain’s Daily Mail, “Russia is ordering all of its officials to fly home any relatives living abroad amid heightened tensions over the prospect of global war.”

Putin warned “(p)oliticians and high-ranking officials…to bring their loved ones home to the ‘Motherland,” the Daily mail citing local media.

US/Russian tensions are greater than at any previous time in the post-WW II period. Flashpoint conditions in Ukraine and Syria heightened them.

So has increasingly provocative US-led NATO actions near Russia’s land, sea and air borders - increasing the threat of direct confrontation, apparently enough for Putin to call home relatives of Russian officials and other personnel abroad, if the Daily Mail’s report is accurate.

Former Russian leader Mikhail Gorbachev described US/Moscow relations as a “collapse of mutual trust,” stressing “the world has approached a dangerous threshold.”

“Dialogue should be resumed. Stopping the dialogue has been the biggest mistake. Now we must return to the main priorities, such as nuclear disarmament, fighting terrorism and prevention of global environmental disasters. Compared to these challenges everything else is a second priority.”

“(A)s long as there are nuclear weapons, there is the threat of their use” - by accident or design, by “a madman (or woman) or a terrorist.”

A nuclear-free world is a vital imperative, he stressed - achievable “only through demilitarization of politics and international relations.”

He explained the landmark 1986 Reykjavik summit achievements he and Ronald Reagan negotiated, saying:

“(W)e agreed on many issues…manag(ing) to look over the horizon, see(ing) the perspective of a nuclear-free world.”

During talks, Reagan “sincerely spoke about the necessity to rid the world of…weapons of mass destruction. We shared a common position on this issue.”

According to the Russian web site Znak.com, Russian officials and personnel at all levels abroad were ordered to take their children out school immediately. Return family members home, they were ordered.

Political analyst Stanislav Belkovsky believes “(t)his is all part of the package of measures to prepare elites (for) some ‘big war.’ “

Retired Russian General Evgeny Buzhinsky said “(a)s far as Russia sees it, as Putin sees it, it is full-scale (US-Moscow) confrontation on all fronts. If you want a confrontation, you’ll get one.”

“But it won’t be a confrontation that doesn’t harm the interests of the United States. You want a confrontation. You’ll get one everywhere.”

With his tenure winding down, Obama is unlikely to end it with belligerent action against Russia. War Goddess Hillary poses a huge danger, almost certain to be America’s 45th president.

Will unthinkable war between the world’s dominant nuclear powers follow? Earlier I called it a coin flip. Nothing changed my mind.

Possible war with weapons able to end life on earth is humanity’s greatest threat under her leadership, or anyone representing America’s neocon lunatic fringe - polar opposite what Trump appears to stand for, favoring normalized US/Russian relations, based on his campaign rhetoric.

Most Americans are so uninformed and indifferent they don’t understand the unprecedented risk to their safety, welfare and futures.
