America No Longer a Force for Good?

Suggesting it ever was defies reality - a nation at war at home and abroad throughout its history, exterminating its native people, waging endless wars of aggression against nations threatening no one.

Susan Rice was Obama’s UN envoy from January 2009 - June 2013, then as national security advisor from July 2013 through January 20, 2017.

Earlier she was Clinton’s assistant secretary of state for African affairs. In this capacity, South African journalist Getahune Bekele called a “consummate ally of grubby despots.”

Her deplorable public disservice shows she supported imperial interventionism, including the rape of Yugoslavia and bombing of seven countries by Obama - Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Somalia, Syria and Yemen.

The New York Times gave her feature op-space to bash Trump, laughably claiming America was a “global force for good” before he arrived, saying:

His “National Security Strategy marks a dramatic departure from the plans of his Republican and Democratic predecessors, painting a dark, almost dystopian portrait of an ‘extraordinarily dangerous’ world characterized by hostile states and lurking threats.”

Fact: His NSS is old wine in new bottles with a Trumpian twist, indeed a deplorable document. So were ones issued by the Clintons, Bush/Cheney and Obama - with Rice as national security advisor, her bloodthirsty imprint on the 2015 document, perhaps the 2010 NSS when she served as UN envoy.

Bloomberg News called Trump’s NSS “shockingly normal,” his four pillars likely the same or worse if Hillary won last year, a blueprint for endless wars of aggression - America’s agenda under GOP and undemocratic Dem. leadership.

Rice: “In Mr. Trump’s estimation, we live in a world where America wins only at others’ expense. There is no common good, no international community, no universal values, only American values.”

Fact: All of the above reflects America’s agenda since WW II, notably post-9/11. Trump stressing “America first” is the way it’s been since the second war to end all wars.

US under leadership of both parties seeks unchallenged global dominance, naked aggression their favored strategy.

Like virtually everyone in Washington, Rice used her op-ed to bash Russia, reciting the usual litany of Big Lies, disgracefully claiming:

“Russia…aggressively opposes NATO, the European Union, Western values and American global leadership. It brazenly seized Georgian and Ukrainian territory and killed thousands of innocents to save a dictator in Syria.”

Post-public disservice, Rice retained her venom and penchant for lying. All of the above accusations are pure rubbish - the same disgraceful accusations The Times makes.

Rice: The Trump administration “embrace(s) a self-serving, confrontational vision of the world.”

America’s “strength has long rested not only on our unmatched military and economy, but also on the power of our ideals.”

“Relinquishing the nation’s moral authority in these difficult times will only embolden rivals and weaken ourselves.”

The Clintons, Bush/Cheney and Obama notoriously “embrace(d) a self-serving, confrontational vision of the world.”

America’s “strength” is used exclusively for ill, not good. It’s humanity’s greatest scourge.

An immoral nation lacks any “moral authority.” Its hostile agenda threatens life on earth.

As Obama’s national security advisor, Rice advocated policies similar to ones Trump pursues.

Mass slaughter and destruction never bothered her. She was once quoted, saying “(t)he only thing we have to do is look the other way.”

The Times supported her as national security advisor. Others condemned her bloody hands. Banality of evil describes her.
