| Hello Jeff - When are American citizens going to stand up and DEMAND that our government stops allowing illegals into our Country and stop relocating them deep into the US? There have been numerous reports that claim the US Govt is bringing illegals into the US and transporting them into Arizona and other states. Of course, NO health checks. They simply bring them across the border and transport them to a town near you,. How many American citizens will lose their children or their lives to diseases brought here by illegals with the assistance of our government? In the case of a teacher in Vermont she went into ACTIVE TB as it took Vermont doctors over 3 months to diagnose the woman with TB. This is unacceptable. No only are we allowing illegals with non-endemic tropical diseases to enter our country but we have not even trained our doctors to recognize these diseases. We have to arm our doctors with more than routine diseases and conditions found in textbooks. ER docs better understand that a patient with Leishmaniasis, TB, Polio, Ebola maybe even Monkey pox or Smallpox may just walk into an ER. They will have to train these doctors to realize that illegal alien vectored diseases may just be infecting American citizens that have not left the country. They need to know what diseases are circulating in Africa, Latin America, Asia etc and be able to recognize it in an American. The ideal is that we begin to actually CONTROL OUR BORDERS and DEPORT those who entered the US illegally. Patty Arizona Measles Outbreak Traced To Illegal Immigrant By Christine Rousselle 6-1-16 Arizona is the latest state to experience an outbreak of measles, and 11 cases have been confirmed so far. The outbreak has been traced to an illegal immigrant who is currently detained in the Eloy Detention Center, an immigration detention center. Seven of the people infected are inmates at the center, and four are workers. At least one of the workers who caught the measles had been vaccinated previously. The vaccine fails about 10 percent of the time. To stop the spread of the infection further, the facility is no longer accepting new people nor is it releasing people. Additionally, officials are warning people who may have come into contact with an infected person at a public location. State and county health officials said they're working to stop new transmissions by isolating patients, vaccinating people detained in the privately-run facility and trying to identify people who were at locations the four infected workers visited. The outbreak began when an infected inmate was brought to the facility and spread the disease to a worker, who had been vaccinated but caught the disease anyway. Health officials put out the first warning of the initial two cases last Thursday. Health officials have identified 14 locations in Pinal and Maricopa counties where the infected workers may have exposed other people, including stores, restaurants and a tribal casino. The last large outbreak of measles in the United States was traced back to Disneyland.
