The Fake Russian Threat |

| America invents threats to justify outrageous military spending, endless
imperial wars, and its global empire of bases in scores of countries on
every continent - policies benefitting Wall Street, war-profiteers and other
predatory corporate interests at the expense of humanity. Washington wants all sovereign independent countries transformed into subservient vassal states, their resources plundered, their populations exploited - naked aggression, color revolutions, old-fashioned coups, and political assassinations its strategies of choice. Russia and China top its list for regime change, demonizing their governments and leadership part of a softening up process ahead of whatever is planned. Big Lies and other type fake news are repeated enough get most people to believe them. Americans are the most over-entertained, under-informed people anywhere - carpet-bombed by state-sponsored and supportive scoundrel media propaganda, aided by constant bread and circuses distractions. According to neocons infesting Washington and top Pentagon officials, Russia is America’s main threat - even though it poses none to any country. Putin advocates world peace and stability, deplores war, and urges mutual cooperation among all nations under principles of international law. On December 20, the neocon/CIA-connected Washington Post-owned Foreign Policy (FP) magazine headlined “Russia Missing from Trump’s Top Defense Priorities, According to DoD Memo.” His four listed main ones include: “1. Develop a strategy to defeat/destroy ISIS 2. Build a strong defense (Eliminate caps from Budget Control Act; improve force strength/size/readiness) 3. Develop a comprehensive USG cyber strategy 4. Find greater efficiencies (pursue/build on ‘great work’ led by DSD Work; open to new ideas from the Department.” Claiming a fake Russian threat is part of Pentagon and US intelligence community strategy - because of its sovereign independence, and America’s need for invented enemies to justify its rage for global militarism and belligerence, not phony reasons cited. In earlier testimony to Senate Foreign Relations Committee members, Joint Chiefs chairman General Joseph (“fighting Joe”) Dunford lied, saying: “If you want to talk about a nation that could pose an existential threat to the United States, I’d have to point to Russia. If you look at their behavior, it’s nothing short of alarming.” China, North Korea and ISIS are America’s other major threats, he claimed. ISIS is US created and supported. China and North Korea threaten no one unless belligerently provoked. Both countries and Russia favor world peace and normalized ties with all nations. Without invented enemies, Washington can’t justify its endless wars on humanity. Its imperial agenda represents the greatest threat to world peace, stability and security. Trump’s transition team indicated his geopolitical agenda is much broader than what’s included in his DOD memo. According to transition spokeswoman Jessica Ditto, “(f)or the media to speculate that this list of issues represents all of the president-elect’s priorities is completely erroneous and misleading.” A Pentagon spokesman declined to comment, according to FP. Trump transition team members were briefed on issues relating to Russia, he explained. If Trump takes steps to normalize relations with Russia and cooperates with Putin in combating terrorism, he’ll face enormous opposition from neocons infesting Washington and top Pentagon officials.
