Even though a majority of Japanese citizens are confused by and opposed to Abe's "snap election" where he recently dissolved the Lower House, Abe has moved forward with this cheap political ploy in order to prove he has a "mandate" from voters to carry out constitutional reforms and restart the nuclear reactors.

Never mind that the people in the northeast region of Japan whose lives were destroyed by the lack of disaster planning for the tsunami and the nuclear disaster could benefit from the money spent on the election. The Fukushima nuclear power plant is still leaking tons of water per day and the folks in the affected regions are still stuck in inadequate temporary housing units.

According to Japan's Green Party, the "snap election" could run (approximately according to current yen-dollar rate) a cool 600 million US dollars. This money could go a long way toward rebuilding their lives, instead it is used to line the pockets of the Japan Crime Network.

This is just another big rip-off of taxpayer money with compliments from the Abe Administration. Under "Abenomics" the rich get richer and the poor get radiation.
