| Suppose your son or daughter is continuously dosed with
a toxin that blinds, drops intelligence, eradicates memory, grows brain
tumors and other cancers, brings fatigue, depression, ADD, panic, rage,
paranoia, diabetes, seizures, suicide and death. Suppose the toxin is
supported by unlimited advertising and the manufacturers pay off the American
Diabetics Association, The AMA, and whomever else, to convince us its
safe as rain. Suppose the lies are backed by a Federal Bureaucracy knowing it may kill your child, but the bureaucrat who approved the poison got a fat job as have many of his successors. The tests submitted by Searle were so bad that the Department of Justice initiated prosecution of Searle for fraud, but the defense lawyers hired the prosecutors, Sam Skinner and Wm Conlon, so the case died with the statute of limitations. At least 11 FDA and Justice Dept officials have switched sides, its a parade! Forget the revolving door, they should build a bridge to take care of the traffic. This doctor stated on 60 MINUTES that all Monsanto/NutraSweet funded studies show aspartame is safe but almost 100% of independent studies show problems. Monsanto doesn't want studies done they can't control, and refused to sell Dr. Walton aspartame for his study. After one man suffered a retinal detachment, another started bleeding from the eyes and others complained of being poisoned he stopped the study. Did Monsanto know what to expect? Is the sea wet? If your child is on medication remember aspartame's original drug application was withdrawn to market it as a food addictive, requiring no monitoring of side effects. The interactions with drugs include monoamine oxidase inhibitors, alpha-methyldopa and L-dihydroxphenylalanine just for starters! Aspartame triggers infertility! Women sit in fertility clinics sipping diet soda, the reason they're there! Dr Louis Elsas, Professor of Pediatrics & Genetics at Emory University, testified before Congress: "Aspartame is in fact a well known neurotoxin and teratogen [triggers birth defects] which in some undefined dose will ... irreversibly in the developing child or fetal brain, produce adverse effects. ... I am particularly angry at this type of advertising that is promoting the sale of a neurotoxin in the childhood age group." [Nov 2, 1987] A study at the University of Barcelona, Spain by Dr. M. Alemany [C. Trocho] has shown formaldehyde accumulates and changes DNA, blinds to kidney and liver tissue, adipose tissue, retina, and brain. The formaldehyde converted from the free methyl alcohol embalms living tissue and damages DNA. In her paper on its effects on the liver, Australia's Dr Sandra Cabot Mission Possible Australia, asks why would anyone consume aspartame: "I would not put it into my body because I'm not ready to be embalmed." Aspartame is, Do-It-Yourself Embalming, since it converts into formaldehyde and also formic acid, ant sting venom. Dr James Bowen, who suffers from Lou Gehrig's Disease from aspartame feels rather strongly about the problem: "Aspartame is mass poisoning of the American public and the rest of the world. ... Every known metabolite of aspartame is of marked or questionable toxicity and patently unsafe for human use. ... The only responsible action would be to immediately take aspartame of the market, fully disclose its toxicities, offer full compensation to the injured public and criminally prosecute anyone who participated in the placement of aspartame on the market. That includes those who work so diligently to keep it there as well." Neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock, MD, declares Aspartame is a toxin like arsenic and cyanide that causes confusion, disorientation, autism, seizures, cancer, pancreatic, uterine, ovarian and brain tumors and leads to Alzheimer's.
