Race Horses Now Getting
Cocaine, Monmouth To Get Condos

By Patricia Doyle PhD

Hello Jeff - One of the plethora of crooked trainers at tracks nationwide just got caught drugging horses with cocaine at Monmouth.  He must have had plenty for both of them...

I also found out something else.   Remember when I told you that the lousy current Governor of NJ wanted that race track for Jersey Shore Condos?  Well, that SOB took the first step toward getting that track for his Real Estate buddies.

Instead of letting the horsemen run the track for profit, the Governor turncoat Christi did what the Jews did to Hollywood Park…and Monmouth Park is now, a Betfair facility.

Yep, the Jews of Betfair have taken over Monmouth Park.  I bet the farm and all of the horses on that farm that next year there will be no more Monmouth.   Christi knew he is finished as Gov and knew that the next Gov in all likelihood will not be favorable to Christi's policies so, in came the real estate and Casino jews.

This year could likely see the very last Haskell Stakes race.  Santa Anita promised to keep the Hollywood Gold Cup named 'The Hollywood Gold Cup'...but it's now just The Gold Cup.

The Jews of Betfair had dismantled every piece of the old Hollywood Park race track as they did in Washington State...and now we could easily say goodbye to Monmouth this Fall.

My guess is the Jews will keep the Casino and where the race track is they will build a hotel and condos.  This is what Christi wanted all along.  Maybe we will be treated to the Trump Betfair Hotel and residential Condos.  Nice.  Another race track bites the dust.

As soon as the Jews took over...we began to get trainers doping horses with impunity.  I know, I was there and it was common knowledge.

BTW...Suffolk Downs outside of Boston is still for sale.  Lord help me to win a big pot and go in with other horsemen who won big pots because I would show them how to buy a track and run it for PROFIT.    What the Jew owners do not realize is that if you allow trainers to drug and harm the horses then the product you are producing for the public will not bring in the public.  People get discouraged when horses break down and in many cases die in front of families. They stack the deck by allowing trainers to drug horses and that makes for unhappy bettors.

A fair, honest track can be profitable.  In all of the cases where crookedness was allowed to fester like a cancer, those tracks failed.  The only money they made was selling the track for condos.

'Betfair' my foot.  If a track is called Bet FAIR, I have to think it is crooked as hell or why call it 'bet fair'?

I feel really saddened by the probable loss of Monmouth and with Betfair in the mix, it is as good as gone already.  That was the last racetrack for thoroughbreds in South Jersey.  They still have harness racing at Freehold, NJ and at Meadowlands.  But how long until the Betfair Jews developers get into the mix.

Note - I see Monmouth Park even renamed the Haskell and now it is the Betfair Monmouth Park Haskell.

Betfair is the real estate/casino corporation that is the 'KISS OF DEATH' to any race track it takes over.

Everyone knew Gov. Christi has wanted Monmouth Park to close so that he and his real estate thugs can close it down and sell off the land for a hotel casino and Condos at the Greatest shore.

Monmouth Park has had a rich tradition in thoroughbred racing and, once it is gone, many of the horsemen of Southern New Jersey will have to find new places to race their horses or else they will have to sell off their livelihood.

It seems that when casinos come on the track, the horse racing ends and the horse racing portion of the property becomes hotels, condos and a casino.

Betfair is the end of racetracks it works its way into

It also seems to follow that trainers get caught drugging horses after Betfair enters the picture.

Monmouth Park Trainer's Horse Tests Positive For Cocaine

Jorge Navarro, Monmouth Park's leading trainer the past four years, is shipping his horses from Florida next week in preparation for opening day on May 13. What's unclear is the impact revelations that one of his runners tested positive for cocaine after a race at Tampa Bay Downs in February will have on the upcoming meet, with all tracks struggling to fill races.

The Florida Division of Pari-Mutual Wagering notified Navarro that Minecraft, a 7-year-old gelding, tested positive after finishing second in a Feb. 8 race. Cocaine is considered a Class 1 drug, and thus receives the industry's harshest penalties.

"I just talked to Jorge, and he said they think it's more contamination," said Bob Kulina, president of Darby Development LLC, which operates Monmouth Park. "I really don't have all the details, so I don’t want to comment any more on it."

Navarro told the Daily Racing Form that he intends to contest the findings.

"I don't do cocaine, my horses don't go out and party, so why would cocaine show up in my horses?" Navarro told the Daily Racing Form. "This is nuts."

While Navarro's horses have never run afoul of the drug testing program in New Jersey, he was slapped with a 60-day suspension in Florida in 2013 for medication violations. It came just one day after he wrapped up his first trainers' title at Monmouth Park.

Unanswered questions create uncertainty at Monmouth Park

Any suspension Navarro receives in Florida for this violation could be devastating to Monmouth Park.

The New Jersey Racing Commission reciprocity rules state that: "No person or horse ruled off or under suspension by any recognized turf authority, any licensing body in any country or any horse franchise holder, shall be admitted to the grounds of any franchise holder."

In addition, any horses Navarro owns, wholly or in part, would be ineligible to run.

Can a Kentucky Derby favorite help save New Jersey racing?

Is NFL 'hypocrisy' in Las Vegas good for Monmouth Park?

The remaining horses could technically be transferred to another trainer, under the premise that Navarro would not be involved, and continue to run, at which point it becomes an integrity issue for the track and the state.

How important are Navarro's runners to Monmouth Park, which was about 300 horses below capacity on its backstretch last summer?

Over the past four years, Navarro's horses have run 626 times at Monmouth Park, including 160 times last summer. During that time, those horses have won 191 races, winning 30.5 percent of the time, and hitting the board 62 percent of the time. His runners have earned nearly $4 million at Monmouth Park since 2013.
