Syria Falsely Accused Of Using
Chemical Weapons - Again

Throughout years of Obama's war on Syria, President Bashar al-Assad was falsely accused of using chemical weapons (CWs) numerous times.

No corroborating evidence whatever indicates Syrian forces used them in any form any time.

Clear evidence shows IS, Nusra Front and other anti-Syrian elements used them them against defenseless civilians - including toxic agents Saudi Arabia supplied.

Anti-Syrian propaganda is relentless. Assad repeatedly faces false accusations.

During a Thursday closed-door Security Council session, members heard testimonies from Syrian doctors.

They alleged use of chemical weapons. A video of unexplained origin was shown with medical workers struggling to help choking and vomiting children.

Washington, Britain and France once again falsely accused Assad of using CWs - despite Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) officials, the UN and Obama himself publicly declaring Syria chemical weapons-free.

Damascus fully cooperated in their destruction. Any CWs remaining are in the hands of extremist elements - with active complicity of Saudi Arabia and perhaps other complicit rogue states.

Russia alone firmly says no evidence whatever indicates Syrian CW use.

US UN envoy Samantha Power lied claiming otherwise - concocting false claims about CWs used from helicopters.

Washington uses radiological, chemical and biological agents in all its wars. So does Israel.

Not a shred of evidence points to Syrian use. In a Friday interview, Assad was asked about being accused of CW use. His response was clear and unequivocal, saying:

"We always said this is propaganda against Syria from the very first day, to demonize the president to demonize the state, in order to bring the hearts and minds of the Syrian people toward their agenda."

"That didn’t work, and if you want to compare this propaganda to what is happening now in the West regarding Ukraine, it’s nearly the same; demonizing Putin and telling and forging, a lot of videos and things that only tell the public opinion in the West lies."

"This is reality. Western people should be aware about this."

"That doesn’t mean we don’t have mistakes, we don’t have something wrong or something bad going on, but at the end, this media propaganda doesn’t reflect the reality in our region."

"So, talking about the chemical weapons, they didn’t have a single evidence regarding this, and even the numbers that are being published by many European organizations as part of that propaganda were varied from 200 victims to 1,400 victims."

"It means it’s not objective, it’s not precise, and so far there’s no evidence that those people were killed because of this attack."

"The only evidence that we have when the committee came from the United Nations, it proved that the sarin gas was used in that area, but they couldn’t tell how and by whom, so they just keep accusing Syria of that."

"That’s not realistic, because if you want to use WMDs, you don’t kill a few hundreds; you kill tens of thousands of people, and that’s beside the capital, it will affect everyone. So, many stories regarding this issue are not correct."

Assad added when UN authorities found proof of "terrorists" using CWs, they "didn't try to verify it."

"They didn't mention it. So it's part of the political agenda against Syria."

OPCW representatives are investigating the latest use of CWs in Syria. They'll report on their findings when available.

In March, Security Council members adopted a resolution prohibiting use of chlorine and other toxic chemical agents in Syria.

"(S)tress(ing) that those individuals responsible for any use of chemicals as weapons, including chlorine or any other toxic chemical, must be held accountable."

Last month, Russia's Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said Moscow hopes OPCW officials will investigate alleged use of chlorine gas in Syria - as well as coordinate with Damascus with regard to its supervised elimination of all CWs in its stockpile.

"Against this rather calm, reasonable and operational background, a number of member-countries of the OPCW Executive Council unfortunately made another demarche to official Damascus for its alleged non-compliance with the Chemical Weapons Convention," Lukashevich explained.

"In particular, groundless accusations based on some questionable publications were voiced against pro-government forces in using chlorine against civilians, in this case in Syria’s Idlib province."

"We hope that the OPCW mission on establishing instances of possible use of chlorine as a chemical weapon in Syria will check this information in its work, along with information provided by Damascus in December last year on possible involvement in crimes with the use of chlorine of extremist and terrorist organizations operating in Syria."

"The same member-countries of the OPCW Executive Committee, which make unrestrained attacks on Damascus, fully ignore and deliberately hush up emerging evidence that extremist organizations, first of all the Islamic State, use chlorine in terrorism purposes in Syria and Iraq."

"We again have to note double standards here."

Syria is Obama's war - using recruited, armed, funded and directed imported death squads, IS, Nusra Front, Al Qaeda and others.

War is in its fifth year. It shows no signs of ending. Obama is systematically raping another sovereign state.

He wants US-controlled puppet governance replacing Syrian independence.

He wants what nearly 90% of Syrians oppose. He's committing genocide to get his way. Assad is wrongfully blamed for his high crimes.
