In Memory Of An American Warrior - Thelma Taormina

A dear friend of mine passed away, April 6, 2015. Thelma Taormina. A true lady and warrior.

I first met Thelma almost four years ago after the late Tommy Cryer, our 'smart' meter attorney at the time, had filed the first petition against the Texas Public Utility Commission in an effort to get them banned in this state. We finally had to sue. Our attorney, Roger Borgelt, filed the final appeal in the 3rd Circuit of Appeals last month. Now we wait.

I think everyone has that time in their life when they meet someone they just really like right off the bat. That's how it was when I met this powerful presence and her loving husband, Nick. Over the years we became very good friends who brought me much laughter and was a true 'comrade-in-arms' for all the battles we the people around this country have been fighting. While Thelma was fierce, she was also a lady. Every time I saw her, Thelma was always dressed so nice. She was also a devout Christian who loved Jesus Christ and the one and only true God.

From our very first meeting I knew I met someone who truly loved freedom and liberty and was willing to get in the trenches to save this republic. After the 2008 meltdown, Thelma and Nick started up their 'We the People' Are the 9-12 Association, Inc. Because of their leadership, their organization grew rapidly in size and became a force the Texas State Legislature became very familiar with - I'm sure many of them wished she would go away.

Thelma was a class-A researcher. She took nothing at face value and even less from careless emails thrown out there which made her a thorn in the side of many legislators; reps and senate. She had the facts when they didn't. Thelma did not fear the government, state or federal. She didn't suffer fools lightly and she also could not stomach the gutless sissy men out there too afraid to do anything other than write emails. Women didn't get a pass, either. If our country had a million Thelma (and Nick), we would be a lot further down the road instead of being on the cliff.

Thelma was diagnosed nine months ago with small cell carcinoma in her lungs which eventually spread to her brain. It's one of the most aggressive, deadliest forms of cancer. The doctors gave her three to six months; God was generous. She did not do radiation or chemotherapy, but rather other alternative programs. Sadly, stopping that ravaging disease didn't happen.

She donated her body for science; there will be no funeral. If you are a subscriber to my free email alert system, I will let the folks in Texas know about a memorial down the road. Right now I'm sure Nick, having cared for her all these months, is dealing with his pain of losing a woman he truly loved. Rarely do you see two people so much on the same page, working side by side to save our republic that really loved and respected each other.

Up until a few weeks ago as sick as she was, Thelma was still in the fight, on the phone and working. America lost a true friend. One of the Heroes that most knew nothing about, but benefited from her tireless work. Thelma and Nick celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary this past Christmas eve. God was generous. But, I believe He needed another Angel and so, my dear friend who I treasured has now gone to Him.

For those who may not know who Thelma was, I hope you can watch a video interview of her. When CenterPoint Energy sent one of their installers to her house to install a 'smart' meter, Thelma told the installer to get off her property. The rat actually physically assaulted her several times by knocking her to the ground! A big mistake. Thelma ran in the house, got her gun, cell phone and called the sheriff. In the end, she wasn't charged. Here is the interview. I am thankful I can watch that video of my friend. She was something!

To my dear friend, Thelma: I will always treasure your friendship and will never forget the short time we were friends. You are deeply missed and loved by so many.

[Just a short note about 9/11. The cost of America's undeclared "war" (invasion) in Afghanistan has now reached $1 trillion borrowed dollars - massive debt heaped on us all based on what happened on 9/11. Regular readers of my column know I continue to press for the truth about the events of 9/11. Military grade nanothermite is not a conspiracy theory. It was found and tested from the rubble at the twin towers. A new, powerful film has been released: The Anatomy of a Great Deception. For full disclosure I receive no compensation, but I want you to get a copy (or a few) and share it with others or give a copy as a present. I've purchased half a dozen copies and given them to individuals I believe seek the truth. It's very powerful simply because it's one 'ordinary' man's story who ask a simple question that led him to a not so simple journey. There is factual information in this film that many have never heard about but everyone should. Just a suggestion, order more than one and give one to a friend. The more people we wake up the better.]
