Trump’s No-Peace/Peace Plan |

| The so-called Israeli/Palestinian peace process is the greatest longstanding
hoax in modern times. Washington and Israel have been scamming Palestinians for over 40 years, deceiving them to believe their self-determination is attainable, conspiring to prevent it - notably now with fascist regimes running both countries, opposing Palestinian rights, hostile to peace and stability. Israel’s Hadashot News (formerly Channel 2) reported what it called “key principles” of a US peace plan. The White House called it inaccurate. Netanyahu said the same thing. What else would they say about a plan delivering everything Israel wants, nothing for Palestinians - pseudo-self-determination featuring isolated cantons, not a state within June 1967 lines they demand, 22% of historic Palestine with East Jerusalem as their exclusive capital. Israel is the only nation without declared borders - because of its longstanding expansionary plans, wanting land stolen from Palestinians and neighboring states Syria, Lebanon and Egypt. The US plan accommodates its wish list, including its so-called security needs - despite facing no threats since the 1973 Yom Kippur war. Israel/Palestinian borders would be more fluid than fixed. Settlements would remain in place, assuring unlimited expansion on more stolen Palestinian land than already. Ending occupation will be more illusory than real, Israel retaining the right to control Palestinian territory. Its lawless Gaza blockade won’t end - legitimate Hamas government outrageously considered a terrorist group because it wants freedom from occupation harshness neither Washington or Tel Aviv will permit. Trump’s two-state solution is a colossal scam like earlier ones - Palestinians to be offered the illusion of one only, not the real thing they demand. The White House plan will likely be presented early next year. Expect enormous pressure and threats brought to bear on longstanding Israeli collaborator Abbas to accept it. Last week, the Saudis demanded he accept what’s offered or resign. White House Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt lied, saying “(w)e will…never impose a deal. Our goal is to facilitate, not dictate, a lasting peace agreement to improve the lives of Israelis and Palestinians and security across the region.” Utter rubbish - never for nearly 70 years, guaranteed not now! Washington one-sidedly supports Israel. Palestinian rights don’t matter. The White House demanded Abbas begin no-peace/peace talks and call off wanting Israel investigated and prosecuted by the International Criminal Court for its high crimes. Otherwise face harsh recrimination, including closure of the PLO’s Washington office and likely suspension of US aid - the clear reality of US scorn for Palestinian rights, one-sidedly supporting Israel. Responding, Abbas spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh called the threat a “dangerous step,” showing Washington is no fair arbitor and never will be. “The Palestinian side has not received any document or idea from the United States for many months, despite the fact that many meetings have taken place with the administration,” showing US disdain for their rights, Rudeineh explained, adding: US contempt for Palestinian rights “deals a blow to efforts to promote peace and a prize for Israel.” PLO executive committee member Hanan Ashrawi blasted Washington, saying it “disqualif(ied) itself as a (legitimate) peace broker in the region” by its actions. It’s the way things have always been since the Nakba for the region’s most brutally oppressed people - more of the same assured under Trump, maybe worse than earlier.
