- I think it's about time I cleared up
some details about the Mars significant faces, names, and numbers. There
is too much misinformation on the net these days, especially that which
states my find is the second face on Mars.
-
- If we call the Face at Cydonia the first
significant face, we must also remember Face II at Cydonia by a gentlman
who called himself "The Webmaster" at the time. Although it may
not look exactly like a face at first glance, it is also in Cydonia and
exhibits all of the finer details associated with the famous Face at Cydonia.
In fact, if you process this monument carefully (as I once did myself to
test his claim) you can see very fine yet defined facial features on the
Face II at Cydonia. It may be an incomplete face, it may be a worn face,
but nevertheless, I feel it is a legitimate face-like monument. I also
found three other reasonably large faces in Cydonia but will leave their
discussion and significance out of this statement.
-
- Then of course there's the Face at Utopia
found some time ago. I'm not sure of the name of the original discoverer.
And I'm sure many of you newbies to anomalies haven't even heard of this
one, but it's there. And in my opinion, it also appears quite significant
being complete with associated platform structures.
-
- Then there is KK's new and latest face
find on Mars...We need to fix this problem too. It is in dire need of a
name of its own! KK's Face is nice (for me) but I think it needs a name
that also places it on the planets surface. Since it appears to be located
in Sinus Meridiani, from this time onwards I will name it the <BThe
Face at Meridiani</B. Then of course this face and any other significant
anomalies associated with it, or near it could be called the <BMonuments
of Meridiani</B.
-
- <BSo, in summary, lets line up the
prominent Faces of Mars by name...
-
- The Face at Cydonia
-
- The Face II at Cydonia
-
- The Face at Utopia
-
- The Face at Meridiani</B
-
- So in actuality, although my Face Monument
appears to be the largest of them all, I did not find the second significant
face monument on Mars, I've found the fourth.
